The Kapuskasing Golf Club played host to this years 2021 NGA Junior Championships which welcomed juniors from across Northern Ontario.
35 golfers competed across 6 age categories included a 2-junior and 4-junior nine hole scramble, giving juniors of all ages and skill to enjoy a great day of competition. Not all competition took place on the course however as the Kapuskasing Golf Club staff and volunteers did yet gain a fantastic job keeping juniors busy before and after their rounds with various putting contests and other small area competitions.
Not only do the NGA Junior Championships allow juniors from across Northern Ontario a chance to compete in a Golf Ontario sanctioned event, but more importantly, these Championships also serve as an Official Golf Ontario Junior Championship Qualifier that exempts the U19 champion for the 2022 Golf Ontario Junior Spring Classic while the U17 & U15 champions gain exemption to and represent the NGA at the 2021 Golf Ontario Junior Championships.
When it comes to on the course, juniors experienced excellent playing conditions as they competed their way through the carefully crafted 9 hole track, one that continues to evolve year after year.

Bantam U15 NGA Champion: Ryan Koski - Spruce Needles Golf Club, Timmins ON
Juvenile U17 NGA Champion: Tucker Oreskovich - Kapuskasing Golf Club, Kapuskasing ON
Junior U19 NGA Champion: Caleb Guindon - Kapuskasing Golf Club, Kapuskasing ON
